Sky director of entertainment channels steps down

Sky announced that its director of entertainment channels, Stuart Murphy, has decided to step down from his rule to pursue other creative opportunities. Murphy joined Sky as director of programmes for Sky 1 in 2009. In his time with the company he oversaw the expansion of Sky entertainment channels including Sky 1, Sky Atlantic, Sky Arts and Sky Living. Murphy has signed a production commitment with Sky vision to  write and develop comedy and drama projects, which he described as a passion of his for many years. He will also explore opportunities outside of TV.
