Sky extends STB technology partnership with Cisco

Pay-TV company Sky is extending its collaboration with Cisco for set-top box middleware systems. As part of their extended relationship, Sky will continue to use Cisco's security portfolio, that includes the next-generation upgrade of the Cisco VideoGuard conditional access (CAS) and digital rights management (DRM) platforms, to securely deliver content to its subscribers.
