Sky Germany drops US sports channel

Sky Deutschland has dropped the channel Sport1 US HD, which focuses on major US sports leagues. A spokesman for Sky confirmed to the site Quotenmeter.de that the companies agreed not to extend the distribution agreement beyond 30 June. According to the report, the channel attracted few viewers. The US sports coverage is also available on the streaming platform DAZN in Germany.
