Sky invests in TV4 Entertainment

European pay-TV provider Sky has invested USD 0.3 million in Los Angeles-based TV4 Entertainment, which owns a portfolio of special-interest TV channels targeting audiences which are typically underserved by traditional TV companies. The channels are distributed across multiple online platforms in the US including Hulu, Amazon, Sony, Vimeo, YouTube and Roku. The investment was made via convertible debt security. TV4 has more than 30 new channels in development.
