Sky invests USD 500,000 in Pluto.TV

UK pay TV operator Sky has invested USD 500,000 in US online video aggregator Pluto.TV as part of its strategy to drive innovation through partnerships with pioneering video technology companies. Pluto.TV offers content through TV channels in traditional genres such as music, news, sports, comedy and entertainment, as well as dedicated channels for specific interest groups (hip-hop, surfing, video gaming, etc.) The service is available in the US through the web as well as various platforms, such as iOS, Android, Google Chromecast, Amazon Kindle Fire and Fire TV.
