Sky New Zealand acquires RugbyPass streaming app for USD 40 mln

Sky New Zealand has acquired the RugbyPass online rugby network for USD 40 million. RugbyPass live streams rugby content across Asia, Australia and Europe. The RugbyPass platform also offers original video content, news, analysis, stats and a rugby player and team rankings system dubbed 'RugbyPass Index'. The transaction is scheduled for completion on 19 August.
