Sky to appoint new Head of Kids Content

UK pay-TV company Sky has announced plans to expand its offering for children. New developments will include the launch of a dedicated app and the appointment of a Head of Kids Content. This follows the recent expansion of the children's shows available in Sky's on demand library from 700 to 4,000 episodes. The new app is expected to launch in early-2016 and will be targeted at children aged 4-9 years in Sky homes. The recruitment process for the new Heads of Kids Content is underway. Sky will also launch a major new advertising campaign on 29 June called 'Operation Kid'. This will feature
