Sky UK & Ireland adds 157,000 TV, 30,000 broadband customers in H1

Sky added 180,000 customers in the UK & Ireland in its fiscal first half to 31 December 2017, including 110,000 in the second quarter, with the product base growing by 1.7 million. This included 157,000 new TV products and 30,000 new broadband products. The group results showed that fibre penetration increased to one third of the broadband customer base, up from 21 percent a year earlier.
