Sky UK & Ireland lifts revenues, EBITDA in Q1

Thursday 12 October 2017 | 09:57 CET | News
Sky UK & Ireland said revenues for the first quarter rose 4 percent year-on-year to GBP 2.2 billion, while EBITDA advanced 11 percent to GBP 452 million and the Established Business EBITDA lifted 15 percent to GBP 476 million. The positive results reflect strong customer and product growth, a change in retail prices in fixed line telephony and broadband, strong growth in pay-as-you-go revenues, and a good performance from the advertising business, against the backdrop of a difficult market.
