Skyhook names new CEO, merges with TruePosition

Location services provider Skyhook announced the appointment of Craig Waggy as chief executive officer. Waggy's appointment comes as Skyhook and its parent company, TruePosition, begin operating as a single business. Additionally, Karl Holzthum joins Skyhook as chief sales and marketing officer. Waggy joined TruePosition in 2005, serving as its executive vice president of finance and administration from 2005 to early 2014 when he was appointed CEO. Prior to TruePosition, he served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of OpenTV and Liberty Broadband Interactive Television.
