Skype doubles Spanish users in 2007; counts 4.8 mln

Skype doubled its number of customers in Spain in 2007 to end the year with 4.8 million, reported El Economista, citing sources at the firm. This year, Skype will focus on products which allow Skype users to move around while having a Skype conversation, away from the computer. A headset designed by Skype and developed by Freetalk is already on the Spanish market but the Skype phone will take at least six months to hit Spain.
