Slovak regulator RU launches internet quality measurement

Slovak regulator RU has announced the launch of the first independent internet quality measurement tool. The development of the tool started as a cooperation between Austrian regulator RTR and the company Specure. The tool will collect of various quality indicators both for fixed and mobile internet in the user's preferred locations. The data gathered will allow a comparison over time and with data measured by other users in the same location at a similar or different time, and for the same or a different operator. RU expects the system will help increase the quality of internet services.
