Slovenia proposes 3.4-3.8 GHz band for 5G tests

Slovenia's Agency for Communications Networks and Services (Akos) and the Ministry of Public Administration have welcomed the European Commission's initiative to enable development projects for 5G technology. The regulator proposes to use the 3400-3800 MHz frequency band for testing 5G projects in Slovenian cities. The aim is to support the early introduction of 5G networks in Slovenia in line with the European 5G Action Plan. Within the 5G initiative, Slovenia could also conduct limited tests on frequencies in the UHF channels which it has coordinated in accordance with the GE06 Agreement,
