Slovenian Constitutional Court suspends T-2 bankruptcy

Thursday 19 May 2016 | 12:56 CET | News
Slovenia's Constitutional Court has accepted the appeal of the largest shareholder of telecommunications operator T-2 and suspended the bankruptcy proceedings for the company, reports Sta. In its ruling, the Court established that harmful consequences could not be ruled out by continuing bankruptcy proceedings against T-2. Garnol, which owns a 98.06 percent stake in T-2, claimed that due to the serious and irreversible consequences of the bankruptcy proceedings for the creditors and shareholders the contested decision of the High Court should be suspended.
