Slovenian government adopts plan for use of 700 MHz band

The Slovenian government has adopted a plan to use frequencies in the 700 MHz band for 5G mobile communication networks, reports Sta. The available frequencies in this band are currently being used for test purposes and will be available for commercial use after 01 July 2020. The Agency for Communications Networks and Services of the Republic of Slovenia (Akos) is preparing for the allocation of frequencies for 5G networks, but auctions are unlikely before 2020.
