Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) has ended
the “Free GB Offer”, a buy one get one free campaign, held between 13 and 19
March. The campaign provided SLT Broadband customers with an equal amount of bonus
GB for each extra GB top-up they purchased.
The ‘On Demand’ data volume facility, also known as the
‘Extra GB’ facility, was introduced to enable additional GB top-up features
online starting from 1GB. Customers were encouraged to use extra data volumes
and top up their GB via the SLT Broadband Value Added Services portal or by
calling the Extra GB Self-Service Number 011-2121212 or by dialing 1212 for
additional data. Every time a customer purchased more volume his GB charges
were reduced as a result, with prices ranging from LKR 500 and LKR 750 for 2 GB
and 5GB respectively.
