Small Cell Forum plans remote plugfest

The Small Cell Forum, in partnership with the ETSI, announced the first Small Cell LTE Remote Plugfest, taking place 13-24 April. The plugfest helps vendors develop interoperable small cells, resolving standards ambiguities and technical bugs to ensure smooth implementation at operators. This is the first plugfest to take place fully remotely, where participants will run test sessions from their own offices by connecting to a VPN-based remote test infrastructure. The main testing ares for the plugfest are LTE-A carrier aggregation, local IP access (LIPA) and selected IP traffic offload
