Small majority of Germans say Huawei devices safe

A small majority of Germans (51%) consider devices from Chinese network equipment manufacturer Huawei safe and are not worried about possible security breaches and spying by the Chinese state. Only 22 percent said they don't consider Huawei devices secure, according to a representative survey by Yougov for Handelsblatt. Another 27 percent said they didn't know or were unsure. Over 700 people participated in the survey.
