Smartphone memory market dips lower to USD 9.4 bln in Q1

The global market for smartphone memory chips was worth USD 9.4 billion in the first quarter, led by Samsung Memory, SK Hynix and Micron, according to the latest study from Strategy Analytics. Together, the three companies captured almost 84 percent of the market. Among them, Samsung maintained its lead with a 50 percent revenue share, followed by SK Hynix and Micron.
