Smartphone sales slide 0.4% in Q3, Samsung, Huawei still growing - study

Smartphone sales continued their decline in the third quarter, though the fall softened to 0.4 percent year-on-year after contracting 1.7 percent in the second quarter, as people opt for mid-tier phones and also wait for 5G to kick in, the latest study from Gartner revealed.
