SmartThings, Acuity Brands to co-create smart home lighting products

SmartThings announced an alliance with Acuity Brands to co-make smart lighting products that will natively connect to the Samsung SmartThings mobile application (app). The two companies are collaborating on smart home lighting products through the Acuity Design Studio, which encompasses industrial design, engineering and portfolio management resources from Acuity Brands and Samsung – housed within Acuity Brands' Atlanta, GA-based operations.
