Smile launches voice app, unlimited data plan

Tuesday 8 March 2016 | 12:32 CET | News
African LTE operator Smile announced the launch of the new services SmileVoice and SmileUnlimited. SmileVoice is a free mobile app that enables customers with Android or Apple devices to make voice calls over Smile's LTE networks. The app targets customers without devices supporting the VoLTE service. Using SmileVoice, customers can make high-quality voice calls to anywhere in the world with their data bundles, at the lowest local call rate per second in Nigeria, the operator claims. SmileVoice calls are charged in MB to an active data bundle and equated to a local per second call rate.
