SNCF taps Gowex for free Wi-Fi at Marseille train station

Spanish Wi-Fi hotspot company Gowex has signed an agreement with French railway operator SNCF to install a Free Wi-Fi service, available 24/7, in Marseille's main train station, "Marsella St Charles". The move will allow some of the 10 million visitors expected in Marseille during its year as the European Capital of Culture 2013 to access the internet at up to 512 kbps both inside and outside the station. Gowex recently launched Wi-Fi service in some Paris metro and commuter train stations.
