SNR deploys new DVB-T2 transmitters

Romanian state-owned broadcasting company Societatea Nationala de Radiocomunicatii (SNR, Radiocom) put into operation four DVB-T2 transmitters at the sites of Constanta - Seaside (channel 30), Comanesti (channel 40), Suceava (channel 38) and Oradea (channel 44), taking the total number of DVB-T2 transmitters to nine. The transition from analogue terrestrial television to digital terrestrial is currently made with a transitory platform through analog transmitters modified by Radiocom specialists. The transitory platform that comprises the nine transmitters will be extended by the end of 2016
