SNR's DTT coverage in fixed reception passes 50%

Romanian state-owned broadcasting company Societatea Nationala de Radiocomunicatii (SNR, Radiocom) announced that DVB-T2 terrestrial digital broadcasting in fixed reception passed the 50 percent target for end 2015 and now reaches 56 percent. Under the terms of the licence for the use of radio frequencies in the MUX1 digital terrestrial system owned by SNR, the company has to provide access to digital terrestrial television in fixed reception until 31 December 2016 to at least 90 percent of the population needs.
