Social computer Solu gets closer to Kickstarter goal

Finland-based company Solu's cloud-based portable computer described as a "social computer" by its makers is on pre-order at Kickstarter. The gadget, which in order to work needs to be connected to other Solu users, reached pledges worth EUR 170,000 and is close to reaching its EUR 200,000 goal with 22 days to go. The device works on a closed system and is linked to a subscription. Solu can be pre-ordered at EUR 349 from Kickstarter and will retail for EUR 449. Solu will be delivered with a charger and a 3-month subscription. If it reaches its EUR 200,000 goal, it will be delivered on May
