SoftBank, Alibaba to invest USD 445 mln in Paytm E-Commerce

SoftBank is investing USD 400 million (approximately INR 26 billion) in Indian company Paytm E-Commerce, in a funding round that values the online retailer at USD 1.9 billion, Reuters reports, citing a regulatory filing. Alibaba, an existing investor in Paytm E-Commerce, is also investing USD 45 million in the Indian company as part of this funding round.
