Sohu reports better-than-expected Q4, boosted by strong growth at online games

Chinese online media, video, search and gaming group Sohu reported stronger-than-expected results for the fourth quarter, boosted especially by online games. CEO Charles Zhang said that while the company suffered from the negative effects of the coronavirus pandemic and uncertain macroeconomic environment, it managed to keep costs down and so return to profitability in the quarter. That profitability should stay going forward to the first quarter as well, according to the company's guidance.
