Sohu.com revenues down 2% to USD 475 mln, net loss widens in Q2

Sohu.com, Chinese online media, video, search and gaming business group, reported total revenues down 2 percent to USD 475 million in Q2. Brand advertising revenues were USD 44 million, down 29 percent year-over-year. Search and search-related advertising revenues were USD 276 million, up 2 percent year-over-year. Online game revenues were USD 102 million, up 8 percent year-over-year. Operating loss for Sohu Video was USD 23 million, compared with a loss of USD 35 million in the second quarter of 2018.
