Some 41% of French LTE customers stream video

Some 41 percent of French LTE subscribers are watching streaming video, compared with 19 percent of all mobile phone users, according to a recently released survey by TNS Sofres for Orange. The survey found that around 4 percent of French tablet owners had a package offering LTE access this summer. M-commerce is another promising sector, with 40 percent of LTE customers having made a purchase with a mobile device, versus 17 percent for all mobile internet users. The study revealed that 90 percent of high tech/tourism product purchasers use digital channels in the research phase and 54 percent
