Some 44% of Germans block internet ads, 44% do not

Approximately 44 percent of German internet users make block web advertising, according to a Digital World survey by the Mingle-Trend blog. It said a survey found another 44 percent do not avoid online adverts and the other 12 percent did not know. It found that 49 percent of men block online ads, compared with 40 percent of women. The rate rose to 62 percent among people aged 20 to 29 and fell to 39 percent among those aged 40 to 49.
