Sonera ties up with Medixine to monitor patients at home

Sonera and Finnish electronic health services provider Medixine have tied up to provide medical services. Among other things, this will speed up patient discharge from hospital. Their Sonera Home Care product range provides of remote monitoring in the home. The service was piloted in South Karelia. Patients and relatives gave positive feedback on the experiment, and daily monitoring increased the sense of security.
