Sonera to provide IoT services to farmers' group ProAgria

Monday 18 April 2016 | 13:06 CET | News
Finnish operator Sonera said it is working with national farming cooperative ProAgria, including the Agricultural Data Processing Centre, the Faba cattle farming cooperative and Association of ProAgria Centres, on digitisation and the Internet of Things (IoT). ProAgria already offers its members and customers a broad range of ICT services, such as software and online services. The co-operation with Sonera is a natural continuation of this activity and M2M applications could include location and livestock health.monitoring, as well as supply chain logistics and automation.
