Sonera to test new intelligent transport application

Finnish operator Sonera is testing a new intelligent transport application whose aim is to help end-users to avoid congestion and to manage travel expenses. Sonera is looking for motorists to test the app, which takes advantage of large amounts of information, so-called Big Data, for improving road safety and traffic flow. The application will be tested during the summer. During the trial, users will be able to test the app at no charge. For all operating systems, the app will provide road users with pieces of information on roads, such as traffic jams, road works, weather conditions,
