Sonera wins digitisation, communications deal from Helsinki

Finnish company Sonera and it has signed an eight-year contract worth EUR 64 million to provide Helsinki city council with digitisation and new communication systems. The council employs about 40,000 workers and aims to develop a user-friendly communication service regardless of time, place and device. The city is planning to develop and deploy interactive services for local residents.
