Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, Neo to come with Canal Plus

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc and Xperia Neo smartphones, running Android and set to be launched in April in France, will feature the Canal Plus Mobile app, giving users access to live streaming TV on the go. Journal des Loisirs Interactifs reports that everyone who buys the phones will be able to watch Canal Plus and news channel iTele's unencrypted programmes. Canal Plus and Canal Sat subscribers will benefit from access to over 50 channels free of charge if they are top-tier 5-star subscribers and for EUR 5 a month if they have a three- or four-star package.
