Sony weighing up sale of Italian FTA channels - report

Sony Pictures Television Networks (SPTN) is considering the sale of its Cine Sony and Pop free-to-air TV channels in Italy, reports Il Sole 24 Ore. SPTN launched the two channels in 2017 after acquiring DTT channels NekoTV and Capri Gourmet at positions 45 and 55 from TBS in March of that year, subsequently appointing Viacom as advertising sales partner.
