South Africa agrees new .za central registry

The ZA Domain Name Authority (ZADNA) and UniForum South Africa have signed the .ZA Central Registry Operator Agreement. The deal is the culmination of several years of research undertaken by ZADNA as well as discussions aimed at transforming the .za name into a world-class, standards-driven domain name registry. The .ZA Central Registry operated by UniForm will include the administration of the .co.za and .org.za sub-domains. The process will also see other second-level domains, such as .net.za and .web.za, included under the ZACR. It aims to also add emerging domains such as top-level
