South African govt holds talks with Telkom over job cuts

South African communications and digital technologies minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams has scheduled an urgent meeting with Telkom in order to be fully briefed on reported plans that the company is set to trim its workforce. The minister's office said a further communication would be made in due course.
