South African IT spending forecast to top USD 26 bln in 2020

Overall IT spending in South Africa is set to reach USD 26.4 billion in 2020, up by 2.5 percent compared with 2019, according to a forecast by International Data Corporation (IDC). IDC associate VP for South Africa Mark Walker said that spending on software and IT services will reach USD 8.2 billion in 2020, an increase of 4.2 percent year on year.
