South African NREN Tenet interconnects with RedClara in South America

The South African national research and education network (NREN), Tenet, and the South American regional NREN system, RedClara, have recently enabled direct R&E connectivity across the South Atlantic. Scandinavia's Nordunet said the Tenet-RedClara link uses NREN connectivity secured on the South Atlantic Cable System (SACS) and West African Cable System (WACS).
