South African trade union criticises Telkom redundancy plans

South African trade union Solidarity has criticised Telkom's plan to make 3,000 workers redundant while paying over ZAR 100 million in remuneration to top executives, reports ITweb. The labour union issued a statement after Telkom said it would cut up to 3,000 jobs as it is faced with dwindling fixed line revenues.
