South Africa's Cape Town to expand public Wi-Fi with Cell C

South Africa's City of Cape Town said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with network provider Cell C in partnership with Facebook, in order to expand public access Wi-Fi locations across the city. The proposal includes providing Cell C with access to street pole infrastructure, council-owned buildings, and other public spaces. The company will then install Wi-Fi, also on public transport infrastructure.
