South Korea has world's fastest internet speed - Akamai

South Korea has the world's fastest internet connection speed for the eleventh consecutive quarter. South Korea's average internet connection speed reached 26.3 Mbps during the third quarter, marking the only country with a speed of over 25 Mbps, Yonhap news agency reports, citing a survey by Akamai Korea. Hong Kong ranked second with an average speed of 20.1 Mbps, followed by Norway with 20 Mbps. Global average internet connection speed was 6.3 Mbps for the third quarter, up 21 percent year-on-year.
