South Korea, UAE lead world FTTH penetration

Canada and Malaysia have joined the list of countries with at least 1 percent of homes connected to FTTH/B networks, the FTTH Council reports. There are now a total 30 countries on the list. South Korea leads with 58 percent of homes connected, followed by the United Arab Emirates at 56 percent, Hong Kong at 45 percent, Japan at 42 percent and Taiwan at 29 percent.
