South Korea unlimited data plan subscribers use 20 GB per month

South Korean mobile customers who subscribe to unlimited package plans reach a monthly data usage of nearly 20 gigabytes, Yonhap news agency reports, citing data provided by the Ministry of Science and ICT. According to the report, local smartphone users subscribing to unlimited data plans used an average of 19.8 GB of data in June, more than 10 times the 1.9 GB monthly usage by those with regular plans.
