Southern regions top Italian fixed speed ranking

The southern Italian provinces of Crotone (Calabria), Ragusa (Sicily) and Vibo Valentia have topped a survey of broadband speeds conducted by price comparison site SosTariffe. Crotone averaged 40.12 Mbps, followed by Ragusa and Vibo Valentia with 29.72 Mbps and 28.74 Mbps, well ahead of the leading northern Italian province of Pavia with 23.10 Mbps and the fastest central Italian province, Perugia with 18.47 Mbps.
