Spacecom signs USD 55 mln deal to supply communications services in Africa from 2019

Israel's Space Communications said it has signed an agreement with a foreign company for communications services from its Amos-17 satellite, which is due for launch in the second quarter of 2019, Reuters reported. The four-year deal to supply communications services mainly to Africa is worth USD 55 million and is expected to begin on either 01 July 2019 or at the start of operations of Amos-17, Spacecom said.
