Spacecom's Amos-7 to provide communications for simulated Martian mission in Israel

Spacecom, the operator of the Amos satellite fleet, together with the Desert Mars Analog Ramon Station (D-MARS), has announced a joint experiment whereby the AMOS-7 satellite will provide communication links for analogue astronauts located in a simulated Martian habitat near the remote Ramon Crater in Israel to an off-base operations and control centre.
