Spain adds 133,545 mobile customers in May

Spain added around 133,545 mobile lines in May, bringing the total mobile base to 55.10 million, up by 4.9 percent over the same month of 2010, according to the monthly report by Spanish regulator CMT. The MVNOs added 163,310 net lines in May, Yoigo had 51,600 net additions, while Orange lost 11,920 users. Vodafone shed nearly 82,280 customers, while Movistar added some 12,830 users in the period. The M2M sector went up by 23.4 percent over the same period last year, to over 2.39 million lines. The growth of the M2M sector brings the total number of mobile lines to over 57.49 million. Spain
